Essie Lolipop

It was love at first sight with this luscious red. I love reds and have to compulsively buy them in every order or when I see them. This has such a unique finish, jelly/creme. It looks kind of see through and that if you were to push on it it would feel squishy. This is my second favorite red after Queen of Speed by Color Club. Whose collections I cannot wait to see. Three?!?! Amazing.

I thought lollipop was spelled with two l's...?

Above and below: I think these were in the shade...I'm not sure, but this is outside.

Above and Below: Outside in as much sun as I could get, which wasn't much.

Indoors

This was two coats, thought it probably could of used three. There's a tiny bit of VNL after two coats. Not too much for most people, but for me it's pushing it.

Man, that last post I did of Nfu Oh 58 had such good pictures, why can't I get that anymore?

Zombeh Fingers!!!11

Thought I'd share this picture of my zombie fingers.

*says in dehydrated toothless logger voice* What's that tell ya?

A little inspiration

After reading Scrangie's post about the Essie Spring Collection and those cool little conversation hearts her husband got her, it made me think of the conversation hearts I got one time.

Of course my pictures of it are not even close to as good and professional looking as hers, so I'm left with crappy pictures where you can't read most of the hearts.

Qué Pasa (What's up), Bésame (Kiss Me), Mi Amor (My Love), Can't read, Can't read, Linda (Pretty), Guapo (Hot/Handsome), Hola (Hi), Can't read

Dulce (Sweet), De Nada (You're Welcome), Amiga (Friend), Llámeme (Call me), Bella (Beautiful), Para Ti (For You), Mi Novia (My GF), Adiós (Bye), Buen Día (Good Day), Todo Mío (All Mine)

Beso (Kiss), Paz (Peace), Qué Tal (How are you), Mi Vida (My Life *term of endearment*), Muy Bien (Very good), Mi Novio (My BF), Ámame (Love Me), Te Beso (I('ll) Kiss You)

As you can see, or not, these are in Spanish. Pretty cool, huh? I know there was one that said te amo (I love you), but I don't think I found that one in time. Living in Texas this isn't so surprising when almost everything is translated into Spanish, but it's cool none the less.

Nfu Oh 58 over Liquid Leather

This was yesterday's manicure, China Glaze's Liquid Leather topped with Nfu Oh #58. This looks so cool, I love looks like this. L-l-l-l-. This alone looks like shit, so definitely gonna wear it over black. This was 2 coats of ChG, 1 1/3 coats of Nfu Oh and 1 3/4 coats of Seche.

Indoors: More of a burnt orange flakie. Yellow is a little visible.

Shade

Outside: Sooo pretty! Red, orange, yellow and green show up in the flakies. This looks so much better outdoors.

Love! Also, my pinky nail broke, the monster pinky nail. I'm sad and it feels and looks so weird not having it there. Wah!!

Small haul from transdesign

I got 8 more polishes from transdesign. I got:

China Glaze Peachy Keen
China Glaze Grape Pop
China Glaze Re-freshmint
China Glaze Lemon Fizz
China Glaze Light As Air
China Glaze Something Sweet
China Glaze Visit Me In Prism
OPI No Room For The Blues

Today I have Peachy Keen swatched for you(me).

I don't know what it is with my camera, (Oh it's probably the fact that it's a cellphone camera Arrianne) but when taken outside it lightens everything (could be the sun there dumbass). The color is more like the second darker picture.

This color looks orange to me sometimes even though it's supposed to be peach, then other times it looks like that crayon macaroni and cheese. Holy balls the formula on this pissed me off! I can't tolerate thick and cuticle draggy, gloopy formula, so this one angered me. It's a really pretty color though.

Good thing no one looks at this or I would feel bad for providing horrible pictures. Not that anyone comes to me for the first look at new collections.

To continue with the posts about nothing...

I think I'd like to disturb some of you all today. I think after seeing this the majority of you will think I'm a wacked out psycho.

Okay it's not that bad, at least to me, but I'm sure a lot of you will still think I'm a wacked out psycho. On with the show...

I've always been interested in Serial Killers, murders, and all that forensics shit. So after I read the book The Night Stalker and saw in there that you could write to Richard Ramirez, well, I got excited.

Apart from what he did to all those people, he seems to be a pretty cool guy. I received 6 letters from him then he spontaneously combusted and that was it.

Note: This is really picture heavy so for all who...yeah you get it.

I'll start with showing the envelopes they came in.

Here's a close up of his signature.

And some pictures he drew or traced for me, an outline of his hand, and a HS picture.

Pretty thrilling stuff, huh? These will be cool things to have when I'm older and he's dead. To have to show my kids and other people. Haha.

I didn't get into the letters and all that crap cause I know none of you care about this.

I realize I should have scanned these in, but I'm far too lazy for that.

Just thought I'd share these with you. Good day!
Ever felt like smashing your head through a wall?

I do.

Oh, and I saw a cat in HEB(grocery store)earlier. Poor baby.

Don't pay attention to this...

Ever felt like ranting? I do.

A lot of things I've seen/read/heard today/tonight/3 years from now have just reminded me how stupid people are. It boggles my damn mind.

I was looking at some of Scrangie's old posts from like 4 years ago (I know I'm a loser) and one of them was about some dumbass telling everyone to throw out their nail polish and makeup because it's just clutter.

What the hell is that shit? This goes along with my befuddlement over how people think once you're married/have a boyfriend you don't have to care about how you look anymore and let yourself go. Why? It's not like your husband is bound to you for life and can never leave you. He can easily leave you for a hot chick that looks, well hot. How pessimistic do I sound? Well 'tis true my dear. As my wise grandfather once said to my mom, "When you turn 40, Rich's gonna trade you in for two 20's."

Doesn't that just fill your heart with happiness? I know it does mine.

Aaaaaaand...I forgot everything else I was going to talk about. Damn mood swings!

I bring worse pictures!!

Today I have more bad pictures for you. I need to 'borrow' a better camera. I have for you Meteor Shower from the China Glaze 50 glitters uhh specialty...collection. This is such a beautiful color, the glitter in it just glows and gah! I love it. See more of my jaundiced skin below!

This gal's chunky and lumpy, but a coat of Seche fixed it up good enough for me. For most it would probably require 2 coats of Seche. And the removal's a bitch. Hey, It's glitter. I guess in these pictures my skin doesn't look too yellow.

I also bring you Mint Candy Apple by Essie from last year's winter collection. I'm a sucker for reds and I looove Lolipop from that collection, but now I'm getting off topic. I took this a while ago so I'm not sure, but if I remember correctly it's a little brighter than this picture shows.

What do these have in common? I don't know and I don't care! I just wanted to squash these together in the same post. The application on this one was really good, not chalky like some of the other girls were saying.

Nfu Oh 51

Okay, so for my first post I bring you the gorgeous as hell Nfu Oh number 51. You've all seen this one before, but this is my take on it. As you can see by my jaundiced looking skin I am not using a good quality camera, but my cellphone. Forgive me, I can't afford a camera, but it's not like anyone reads this anyway. Why am I posting this? But I digress. These were taken at sunset, some a little earlier.

(Please forgive my horribly uneven nails.)

And for good measure I'll throw in the transparent version of my jaundiced skin. Just look how electric it looks though!

This was so picture laden, but it was hard for me to choose. I wasn't able to catch the rainbow effect the flakies have, but this one is hard to catch right on camera. The formula of this polish was really good, smooth and easy to apply. I'm definitely buying some more Nfu Oh in the future. I loove me some flakies.
